The MCS School Board has once again been recognized with the prestigious Tennessee School Board Association (TSBA) Board of Distinction Award for its exceptional work in the areas of planning, policy, promotion, and board development.
The two-year designation recognizes school boards that demonstrate excellence in governance and leadership while advancing student success. The TSBA Board of Distinction Program acknowledges boards that meet rigorous requirements in key operational areas and have gone above and beyond in their efforts to create lasting change through strategic decision-making and advocacy.
The Board of Distinction Award highlights the collective efforts of the board as a governing body. Through thoughtful planning, continuous board development, and a commitment to sound policy, the Murfreesboro City Schools Board of Directors continues to provide strong leadership that supports student achievement and organizational excellence.
