School Counseling

The mission of the Murfreesboro City School’s School Counseling Program is to assist all MCS students in discovering and reaching their maximum personal potential. 

In order to meet the School Counseling Standards, MCS Professional School Counselors provide: 
• Character Education and Bullying Prevention  
• Child Safety Education and advocacy 
• Small Group Counseling 
• Individual Student Support 
• Social Emotional Behavioral Skill Development  
• Career Exploration 
• Referral Services (mental health, social work, etc.)
