It is indeed a pleasure to WELCOME you to our classroom and webpage!   I am excited each year to meet my little friends and their parents!  Scales parents are the BEST and you will join this great group! 

I love the following statement, “IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD”!   This is certainly a true statement, as you and I, our administration, and other teachers will join as ONE to help your child reach his/her highest potential.  My philosophy is that each child is capable of LEARNING! 

On your child’s educational journey for the next twelve years, I hope that you will always encourage positive thoughts related to school.  This encourages your child to perform well and enforces a positive attitude.  You are more than welcome to contact me for any concerns!

Our webpage is to provide you with information related to our school and classroom.   Parent letters will be on our webpage.  A copy will also be sent home.

I am honored to be your child’s first teacher in public school.  I hope to instill in my friends a LOVE FOR LEARNING!   My wish is that each child will arrive at school EXCITED and ready to learn for the next twelve years and beyond!
