The 2010-11 Scales Band is comprised of about 55-60 sixth graders. The band members meet daily from 1:00 - 1:40 pm. On certain days, the band is divided into woodwind and brass / percussion to fine tune certain techniques or songs. The students are encouraged to practice between 10-20 minutes per day. The Scales Band is open to any and all sixth grade students. On average, the Scales Band will perform about 3 public concerts per year. We work hard to make beautiful music for a wonderful and supportive school family! On a personal note, I am extremely blessed and honored to be apart of the Scales Family.
