Scales Zapple Winners "Students at Scales Elementary proudly display their 'Zapple Apple Dapple' award prizes."
Some students at Scales Elementary are being rewarded for making nutritious food choices and displaying good behavior during breakfast serving time in the cafeteria. Ms. Belindia Gaines, Physical Education teacher, and Ms. Phyllis Carr-Curry, the cafeteria manager, developed the 'Zapple Apple Dapple' program at Scales to encourage students to practice good behavior and food choices during breakfast.
