Mitchell-Neilson School will open it’s doors to artists and art lovers alike on Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m. for the We “Heart” the Arts International Art Show and Auction. The exhibition will include a global roster of artists and works from several local organizations such as The Murfreesboro Art League, Confucius Institute, and Emery’s Fine Art Gallery. Local jazz musician Ernest B. Newsom will also be there to serenade guests as they browse and bid on donated items at the silent auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Mitchell-Neilson School’s art department and Murfreesboro City Schools’ Community Outreach program.
