MCS is planning to install a Little Free Library in front of all schools this fall and we want our students to be involved in the process. Students can help create the miniature library by entering the Little Free Library Design Competition. All they have to do is sketch and color the provided template and return their design to the school librarian. Designs are due Friday, August 28th.
Read to Succeed will announce the winning designs for each school on Reading in the Schools Day, Friday, September 18th.
A Little Free Library is a book borrowing campaign that places free books directly in neighborhoods. They provide a space for free book exchange and everyone in encouraged to “bring-a-book, leave-a-book.”
