Getting Started: 

iWeb is simply an alternative to our current website design software Schoolstation.  You will find it more creative and functional, however, it is more elaborate and requires publishing steps to update the page. 

As in anything else, you will need to spend some time deciding which is best for you and your classroom.  Begin creating and when you are through, save, then email us to let us know you are ready to publish!

To the left you will  see the template window where you can choose a basic template for either all of your slides or just the first page.

To the right are your format choices.  Choose the format of the page you are using:  Home or first page would be Welcome, a page with all photos would be Photos, etc.

You will see this window whenever you add a new page to your site.

Before we get started, remember to save via File then Save.  This saves not just that page but the entire site.

By clicking the plus sign to the left, you can begin a new page.

On the bottom of the iWeb window pane you will find several options for creating your website.  Click on one for its instructions.

We suggest emailing us the first time you publish to the internet......but, if you feel courageous......
