The City Schools Foundation will kick off the 2016-17 school year with a 5K/10K run on September 17, 2016. This new fundraiser will begin at Overall Creek Elementary and run a relatively flat terrain on Veteran’s Parkway. The race is certified and timed.

To date, The Foundation has raised over $700,000, with proceeds being directed towards parity and classroom grants to enhance science, math and art programs. Proceeds from this fundraiser go to teacher and parity grants for Murfreesboro City Schools.
