Bragg PhotoFormer Murfreesboro Mayor Tommy Bragg and his wife, Jeanne, will be honored at The City Schools Foundation 8th Annual Excellence in Education Celebration. The foundation is pleased to have 3 diamond sponsors this year, The LaRoche Family Foundation, City Tile and Floor Covering, and Bell Jewelers. The annual gala honors those who have spent a substantial amount of time supporting education in Murfreesboro schools and is scheduled for Friday, February 6, 7:00 p.m. at Stones River Country Club.

Themed “Something to BRAGG About,” reservations for the celebration are now available including individual tickets at $250. Invitees will also have the chance to enter the Bell Jewelers diamond raffle of a one-carat gem, valued at over $5,000, by purchasing a $50 raffle entry ticket.

Funds raised by the City Schools Foundation provide teacher grants and parity funds to benefit the diverse student population that comprise Murfreesboro City Schools.
