MCS News Update

The Extended School Program (ESP) at Murfreesboro City Schools will be available to all registered students during Fall break with many activities planned for students. ESP will combine schools and operate at host sites from 6 a.m.- 6 p.m. Students participating in ESP over Fall Break should bring snacks, breakfast and/or lunch.

ESP Host Sites for Fall Break are:

Black Fox
(serving families from Black Fox, Discovery, and Reeves Rogers)

John Pittard
(serving families from John Pittard, Mitchell-Neilson Primary & Elementary, Northfield, and Erma Siegel )

Hobgood
(serving families from Hobgood and Bradley)

Scales
(serving families from Scales, Cason Lane, and Overall Creek)

ESP provides a safe, educationally enriching, fun and rewarding experience for all students of Murfreesboro City Schools. ESP offers a wide range of classes including sports, music, arts and crafts, woodworking, ballet, hip hop dance, cheerleading, cooking, journalism, science, technology, foreign languages, robotics, and many more. The program also provides homework assistance and tutoring in specific subjects.
