Our Mission

To Assure Academic and Personal Success for Each Child.

Each school day starts out with the Siegel Morning News. Under the direction of Terri Keene, sixth grade students work the news like a job.  They have to apply for a position, be able to arrive early, and go through training for their position. Once Siegel Morning News Teams are chosen, they must continue to be responsible students.

Every news program highlights the lunch choices, birthdays and any other special announcements that need to be made for that day.  They also lead the school in the pledge of allegiance, moment of silence, and the Siegel pledge.

The Siegel Morning News is something students aspire to do in sixth grade, and a great way to start our day at Siegel.
