Collaborative Learning Using Basic Supplies

Science Clubs is an after school program designed to reinforce the academic theories taught in the classroom through hands-on inquiry, the scientific method form of research, critical thinking, and experimentation.  Though not affiliated with ESP, this club allows approximately 40 students in grades 4-6 to come together once a week after school to investigate the basic laws and principles of science in collaboration of a multi-age group of peers.  Exploration of the many doctrines of science allows students to share ideas in Physical Science and Earth and Life Science.  Lead by two volunteer teachers, we have already competed in the first Science Olympiad in April of this year.
