It is a unique experience for students to have a "hands on" opportunity to save their money at a young age at their school's student-operated bank under
Pinnacle Banking employee supervision.
Is this real?
Yes. These are real savings accounts. The money is held at a "real" bank.
Is my child's information safe?
Yes. We are governed by the same privacy laws that apply to Pinnacle Banking.
All information is confidential.
What are the benefits?
Students learn to SAVE their money and handle cash with the observation of
Pinnacle Banking employees. Students really get excited when they receive an
actual statement mailed to them. These are interest bearing accounts
owned by the student with a parent/guardian as custodian.
All accounts are FDIC Insured.
Who can make deposits and withdrawals?
Students can make deposits at their school on the designated Bank Day.
Custodian of the account can make deposits and/or withdrawals at any
Pinnacle Banking location.
- Monthly Statement
- No monthly maintenance fees
- $5 minimum to open account
- Requires a Parent/Guardian on account
- Interest paid monthly on entire balance
- Three free in-person withdrawals per statement cycle at any Pinnacle location
- Deposits can be made at school during the scheduled Bank Day or at any Pinnacle Banking neighborhood location
