IOPPT is the before and after school program at Cason Lane Academy. It is a choice program that provides safe, educationally enriching, and quality care for students during the hours before school (6:00am - 7:45am) and after school (3:00pm - 6:00pm) and when school is not in session (6am - 6pm). Students have the opportunity to engage in activities which will benefit them emotionally, physically, and academically.

The program includes classes centered around four broad areas: Life Skills, Academics, Arts, & Recreation. Many academic classes are developed based on the needs of the students' performance in subject areas and are taught mainly by certified teachers. The program is conducted and planned by teachers, educational assistants, mid-day assistants, college staff, and parents to meet the needs and desires of various students. There is flexibility to accommodate students from different age groups and grades. The IOPPT program is a non-discrimination choice program and is used by 60% of the school population.
