Buses United for Safety Program

Students laughed, cheered and reviewed safety rules as they participated in B.U.S (Buses United for Safety) program presented by the MCS Transportation department. Bus Drivers and Bus Assistants engaged students through a series of talks, performances and videos on why they should follow the safety guidelines set by the transportation department. Topics included how to properly cross the street, how to behave on the bus and what items can or cannot be carried on the bus. Students were even treated to a role-playing session where they switched roles with the bus drivers and assistants and attempted to keep order on the bus.

The transportation team has toured several schools with the B.U.S program and is looking forward to continuing the program in the fall.
