The Tennessee State Board of Education recognized Discovery School and five additional Tennessee schools on receiving National Blue Ribbon School status at their February 8 board meeting. The National Blue Ribbon School award affirms the hard work of students, educators, families, and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging content.  Discovery School was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in November, 2018 for their Blue Ribbon Status.
